D-Day Anniversary

Today marks the 64 yr anniversary of the amphibious allied assault that was essentially the beginning of the end to the Nazi reign in WWII. Over 850,000 troops took part in Operation Overlord and there were an estimated 10,000 casualties. A huge sacrifice that should never be forgotten.
